Trey's First Month:
WOW!
One month already! Time really does fly and I'm not sure I'm ok with it! :) Trey has been such a blessing to us since day one and we are so thankful for him and we feel so honored to be his parents! A lot happened in his first month of life and I don't want to forget anything, so here is a recap and some memories.
* At one month he weighs 9lbs 4oz and is almost 22 inches long.
* He loves to lay on the floor with a heater pointing at him.
* He lost his umbelical cord at 2 weeks old.
* He eats every 2 to 3 hours and sleeps usually a 4 hour stretch at night. Usually getting up only once maybe twice a night.
* He loves the bath and gets so content right before getting in the water.
* He has a really strong neck and does pretty good at holding it up.
* He loves to listen to music, usually puts him to sleep.
* He still fits in all his newborn clothes.
* Grandma and Grandpa Patterson were here to visit for 3 weeks. They were here for one week before he was born and 2 weeks after he was born.
* Uncle Chris, Aunt Cheryl and cousin Selah came to Fresno to meet Trey when he was 5 days old.
* Aunt Ashley flew all the way from Tennessee to meet Trey when he was only one week old.
* Aunt Tracy, Uncle Mike and cousins McKenzie and Kayla came to Hume to meet Trey when he was 2 weeks old.
* 4 days after he was born Hume got its biggest storm of the winter.
* He went on his first walk around Hume at 3 weeks old. He slept the whole time! :)
* He went on his first road trip just before he was a month old. We went to Mount Hermon on the Hume Staff Retreat. He did wonderful!
* We celebrated Easter the day before he turned one month old. (above picture)
Cant wait for month two and to see all the new things he is going to go through! :)
